Silent Words (1984)

‘Silent Words (1984)’ has been made in the 40th anniversary of the year the book is set in. Depicting the pyramid shape of the Ministry of Truth Building is a nest of 3 pyramids, made using one page cut from each section of the book.

Redacted poetry is cut into each face of the pyramids:

In peace was divided truth
We became a landscape of memory
Never looking just seeing
Not possible to wonder again

Burning voices hardly bearable
All committed to mind
In a broken moment
Far before years present

Silent words shouted
The hours narrow
And moved
Into forgetfulness
